ONBOX developed the brand identity and website for The Pump Club, a Webby Award-winning daily podcast and newsletter by Arnold Schwarzenegger. 

Arnold’s Pump Club is a space of positivity. It’s where people come to get motivated, inspired, and feel good about themselves and the world. We explore the idea of the website as a wall of inspiration, in two visual directions:

One as a vision board of cut-out quotes and images the way you’d put your heroes and idols up on a bedroom wall or your locker door at the gym.

Another taps into the idea of positive reinforcement and plays on the feeling of getting rewarded with stickers and other memorabilia as evidence of a job well done.

Arnold’s Pump Club

Arnold Schwarzenegger is on a mission to bring positivity to the world. His daily newsletter and podcast, Arnold’s Pump Club, aims to make it easier to live a healthier, happier life without all the confusion and stress.

Arnold's Pump Club came to us with a baseline logo and an inspiring vision. After pinching ourselves, we began a close working relationship with Arnold’s team, working to develop the Pump Club into a wider recognizable brand identity that would enable growth across the website, newsletter content, limited edition merch, and social media posts.

Building on iconic Arnold moments and messaging from the newsletter, regular merch drops let fans share their positivity and proudly rock a piece of the Pump Club identity.

Brand and packaging design for June Science, a new range of targeted, fast-melt probiotics. 

June Science

June Science is trailblazing an entirely new category of probiotics. One that's targeted, tasty, and designed for life on the go. We worked closely with the team to help brand their breakthrough range.

When June Science first approached ONBOX, they had an idea for a product but not much else. The team knew they wanted to make FastMelt probiotics but they weren't sure how to position them. Our challenge was to help this new form factor stand out amongst a sea of sameness in a dauntingly crowded category. 

After settling on a brand name, we nailed down Target Audiences, identified Brand Pillars, defined Company Values, and crafted an ownable Personality built around a simple brand differentiator: Active Culture Formulas. Targeted probiotics that work as hard as you do. 

Ultimately the brand strategy ended up informing the products themselves, and we worked closely with the client to help formulate custom probiotic blends that felt distinctly true to their bold new Brand Narrative.

An active approach

June Science is built on the simple truth that in order to achieve your best, you need a solid foundation. And because your gut health is responsible for basically everything that makes you, you — from your mood to your muscle recovery — there's nothing more foundational. This core idea led us to the brand's strategic positioning, 



On the surface this allows the brand to be intentionally bold. With a rallying cry designed to feel more at home at an extreme sports event than a medicine cabinet. The tone is gritty yet inviting. Aspirational yet accessible. Decidedly active. And distinctly unique in the space. (See ya later, Smiling-Elderly-Couple-Walking.jpg)

Beneath that, however, there's a solid, proven scientific foundation, informed by decades of research by the brand's parent company. A cleaner, no-nonsense approach and a simple black and white color palette allows the brand to be serious when it needs to be, and to drill down into more functional messaging.

Canada’s largest online pharmacy needed a digital presence that could scale with its next big move: integrating telehealth alongside its pharmacy platform. Already trusted by thousands of Canadians each month, the goal was to create a unified, credible, and intuitive experience that made managing prescriptions and virtual care effortless.

The direction was anchored in trust, convenience, and innovation, balancing the rigor of healthcare with the clarity and ease of a modern tech platform. We collaborated closely with their in-house development team to bring the design to life, optimizing for both customer confidence and conversion. The result is a scalable design system and digital experience that positions Pocketpills as more than a pharmacy, elevating it into a comprehensive healthcare platform built for the future.

As the original creators of the “$cashtag”, Stocktwits has been a pioneer in blending social interaction and investing. We partnered with their team to create a reimagined identity that reflects the future of financial culture.

The financial industry is changing. Fast. And with over 10 million users, Stocktwits is the place that it's happening. But with a brand that looked better suited to the days when Facebook had walls and Twitter had normal human beings, it was time for an update.

We reimagined a brand built to reflect the pulse of the modern market and designed to resonate with the fast-moving, ever-evolving nature of today's investing culture. At the heart of the visual identity, the $cashtag, now contained within a speech bubble, frames Stocktwits as the ultimate space for connection, conversation, and community around finance.

Finding a pulse

The design system is unapologetic and modern, with bold typography and a vibrant colour palette that captures the intensity and energy of online financial communities. Infused with the same irreverent energy that turns market rallies into memes and trading losses into viral content, the identity commands attention whether it's breaking market news or dropping the hottest trading memes.

Summer Smash Tennis

Summer Smash Tennis is Vancouver’s premier tennis academy. We served up a new brand and website to help them ace the space.

The coaches at Summer Smash Tennis are dedicated to helping people Play Beautifully.

For them, tennis is more than a sport. It’s an opportunity for players to be part of a community, grow as individuals, and—most of all—have some fun.

In reimagining the brand, we knew we wanted to capture that same welcoming, uplifting spirit.

Love All

The brandmark and colour palette is inspired by retro summer camps and sunny Vancouver afternoons. Stickers and mixed media graphics transform photos into heightened moments of playfulness, serving as a reminder to see the joy in every swing.

Designed to delight

In addition to the brand, we also rebuilt the Summer Smash website from the ground up.

A refreshed information architecture ensures class information is readily accessible, and custom CMS plugins make updates more manageable for the admin team. Moments of joy are interspersed throughout the site to elevate the user experience and better reflect the level of quality on offer.

Since launch, Summer Smash Tennis has seen more than a 50% increase in class registrations.

A website that wins

Panaji

Panaji bakes the world's fluffiest flatbreads. With a strong retail presence and plans to scale, they had an appetite for a new website that would set the table for future growth.

Panaji makes famously fluffy, deliciously buttery naan flatbreads for every meal and moment. The brand already had standout packaging, a vibrant visual foundation, and a product that people genuinely loved. The only thing missing was an impactful website to match.

Inspired by the colourful product packaging—and the joy of great food shared with friends—our visual approach captures vibrant, expressive, and authentic moments spent around the table.

Pen Name sets the standard for high-impact creative — trusted by names like Tim Ferriss, LeBron James, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Reid Hoffman. From top-ranked podcasts to iconic brand launches, their work shapes culture at the highest level.

While Pen Name’s work stands out, their website was dated, static, and understated to a fault, a stark contrast to the impact they’re known for. We partnered with Pen Name to create a digital presence that matches the caliber of their output. The goal: build a site as confident and intentional as the work it showcases.

The Project

Our job wasn’t to make them louder. It was to make them undeniable. We built a site that mirrors the way they operate: sharp, fast, and deeply intentional. Every interaction is considered. Every detail earns its place. From the navigation to the motion to the typography, nothing is added without purpose. The site doesn’t try to impress, it simply reflects the confidence of a team that knows exactly what they’re doing. It’s a platform that speaks clearly, works seamlessly, and holds up to the level of names that trust Pen Name with their reputation.

A Crafted Experience

A brand sprint for Hark: raw frozen food for dogs.

Hark

Hark is putting wags into bags, with the only human-grade raw food that's also made with heart-healthy grains and whole ingredients.

Hark engaged ONBOX looking for a brand sprint. We try to only do a few of these a year, and only for brands that we think will make them count. In this instance the founding team had clear messaging and a robust internal positioning document, and just needed a quick-to-market identity that would help them establish an initial brand playbook for fundraising. Plus, dogs. Done deal.

Who's a good brand?

As out-and-out dog lovers, the team leapt at the opportunity to unleash on this one. Inspired by the telltale "clink" sound of frozen food hitting a dog bowl, we quickly fell in love with the idea of an onomatopoeic brand — one that let us use dynamic typography to emulate happy pups of all types.

In just under two weeks we had a complete brand toolbox handed over, all within Figma for complete flexibility. The sprint included logos, packaging, photography styles, launch graphics and a one page website homepage.

Litquidity

Litquidity isn’t just a finance meme account, it’s a media powerhouse with over 2.5 million followers, a booming newsletter (ExecSum), a podcast network, and a syndicate of private investors. As their influence grew, so did the need for a cohesive digital identity that matched the sophistication of their content. That's where we came in.

ONBOX partnered with Litquidity to reimagine their brand system and create a unified web presence, one that balances edge and polish, and gives their content the credibility it deserves. We developed a flexible visual language that could stretch across platforms while still feeling unmistakably “Lit.” Clean typography, an editorial-inspired layout system, and subtle nods to financial vernacular formed the foundation.

Bringing the market to the masses

FreshCap Mushrooms

FreshCap is on a mission to bring medicinal mushroom supplements to the world. We developed a distinct identity that helped take the brand from a small supplier to an 8-figure industry leader.

From the start we knew that FreshCap was going to be something special. The brand had to be functional and informative, but we also saw an opportunity to make a splash with something bold and unexpected. Our collaborative approach allowed the founders' personalities to shine through, guiding us through the fantastic world of fungi to create something energetic, authentic, and with tons of personality.

Building a functional foundation

Search for Functional Mushrooms on Amazon and you'll be inundated by a never ending wall of brown, black, and beige. By contrast, our colour and typography choices were made to reflect the various mushroom species, while steering clear of anything too outwardly muddy. Organic shapes and bold eye-catching visual treatments combine to create a brand that can't help but draw you in. 

Bonus? We got to discover the awesome world of functional mushrooms for ourselves. We're now full-time fungi fans at ONBOX HQ.

Montfort Capital is building a future where private credit is accessible to everyone. They needed a bold identity to match their bold vision.

Montfort came to us with a blank slate: A nameless portfolio of companies making private credit accessible to investors.

Our challenge was to create a unifying brand that felt trusted, timeless, and familiar, while establishing itself as a modern disrupter to an archaic industry.

What's in a name?

It was clear from the start that bringing together these disparate pieces required more than just a name and a logo.

So we began to imagine Montfort not as a brand, but a destination. A world of aspirational spaces, powered by smart investing decisions, that invite you to step inside and create your own stories.

Inspired by broadsheets, ledgers, and printed reports, digital touchpoints nod to physical counterparts, creating a cohesive brand experience whether you’re on a boat or in the boardroom.

Salt Spring National Art Prize

The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) is a biennial competition and exhibition of Canadian contemporary art. They needed a bold and engaging website on which to take submissions and showcase exhibitions.

Inspired by the various shapes of BC's Southern Gulf Islands, we built upon the existing SSNAP brand to create an identity that was as varied as the artworks themselves, but which would also allow submissions to stand on their own in a gallery context. The brand also needed to span both digital and print applications.

Creating a brand as a backdrop

Working from the insight that contemporary art should be surprising, we aimed to intersperse moments of joy throughout the website that are both fun and engaging.

A website that wows

Attribute

Attribute is a customer attribution app designed for Shopify. We worked closely with the Attribute team to design the product, along with the brand and website.

There's a certain sameness to most Shopify apps. In designing the Attribute app, our aim was to create a familiar user experience, while elevating the wider brand, and optimizing and improving UX where possible.

Ora Organic

Ora Organic is one of the pioneering plant-based supplement companies. They're bringing transparency, quality and a little bit of joy to the industry. As design partner of record, we work together on brand identity, packaging, web design, and ongoing campaigns.

Since the very beginning, Ora's been challenging the establishment, asking why things can't be done better, and then doing it. Their story comes from plants. And their ethical sourcing is based in quality of ingredients. As such we wanted plants to take centre stage as part of the brand, with a visual system that's as clean and simple as their ingredients. To further build out the brand, we developed an illustration set that can be seen across their print and campaign collateral.

Brand design, pure and simple

In addition to packaging and web design, the Ora brand comes to life in seasonal campaigns, where ingredients and products are given a spotlight to shine. Our team storyboards, art directs, and photographs the unique assets that live adjacent to Ora's main identity.

Zoefull

Zoefull is a small Greek brand on a big global mission — to spread joy, health, and long life, through the power of the Mediterranean diet.

We collaborated with Zoefull to help them distill their essence into an accessible yet authentically Greek brand. Given that the name comes from the Greek word for “life”, we took inspiration from all things life-affirming. Architecture, food, colours, flavours—even the Zoefull team’s personal memories—all came together to inform the joyful end result.

That authentic narrative throughline gave us a strong launching point into developing a complete visual identity system, including branding, packaging design, art direction and e-commerce website.

A comprehensive brand system

Fresh Nutrition

As the trusted ingredient supplier for leading supplement brands, Fresh Nutrition knows a thing or two about quality. Now, they're cutting out the middlemen and making premium nutrition more affordable for everyone.

After seeing strong sales during the vitamin-fuelled Covid days, Fresh Nutrition’s market footprint had started to plateau. They had a strong Amazon presence and great product. But a fragmented and confusing brand with little creative oversight meant that customer acquisition was dropping off. It was time for a refresh.

Going back to basics

Utilizing our embedded partnership process, the ONBOX team led Fresh Nutrition through a comprehensive repositioning and brand overhaul — including a complete rebuild of their Shopify website. After aligning on a strategy, we rolled out copywriting, design, packaging and marketing strategy for 35+ flagship supplement products.

A comprehensive rebrand

The rebrand gave the Fresh Nutrition team an ownable brand identity, built around their core strengths of direct-to-you simplicity and clarity. The scalable design system helps products stand out in a crowded marketplace, and a close working relationship between ONBOX and product managers continues to enable rapid product innovation and quick go-to-market rollouts, helping the brand stay ahead of the competition.

Trends with Friends is a hub for financial insights, trends, and market ideas. Their daily newsletter is targeted at serious investors with a serious sense of humour and combines data-driven insights with straight-talking analysis.

The brand pays homage to simpler times, inspired by the early days of the internet when every hobby had its own distinct community. Web 1.0 style graphics give the brand a nostalgic treatment.

Making the market simpler

We use pixels as building blocks to both capture simplicity and retro charm, while symbolizing the building blocks of modern technology and trends. What begins with the logo is then scaled across each brand touchpoint creating a cohesive and interesting background to the media and content.

Midlife Male

Midlife Male is helping men maximize middle age. They're cutting through the crap to help males have happier, healthier, stronger lives and relationships.

Somewhere between climbing mountains, running marathons and leading businesses, Greg Scheinman also found the time to build a successful media empire as a thought leader on life over 40.

He's a pretty impressive guy. So we pulled up our socks and worked closely with Greg and his team on a refreshed brand and website that didn't just match the Midlife Male ethos, but which could also serve as a foundation for the company's next stage of rapid growth.

Getting real about men's health

Medallion Equine

Medallion Equine is the culmination of over 25 years' experience in equine nutrition. Through their flagship product, Optimize, their mission is to provide all horses with happier, healthier lives.

Medallion has such a unique story to tell we wanted to do it justice when it came to the web experience. We created an experiential site that puts the brand story first and foremost, allowing users to feel the premium Medallion Equine difference at every touchpoint.

Straight from the horse's mouth

While the main purpose of most e-commerce stores is to sell the product, Medallion wanted to take a more personal approach. The physical and conventional experience of horse care would be lost in a transactional and "optimized" web experience, so we started with the idea of trying to recreate this premium touch in the digital world.

Tools For Change is a community program that celebrates and empowers women and underrepresented creators of all kinds. Our talented female designers took the lead on this project, creating a playful, friendly and safe brand space that encourages learning and discovery.
