ElectroRecycle is Canada’s first and only small appliance and power tool recycling program. Our challenge was to update the ElectroRecycle brand, developing a new logo and identity as well as designing and developing a new website.
The aim of the project was to create a bold identity that would stand out, while educating consumers on the products accepted by the recycling program. We created a suite of illustrations, along with utilizing real-world, situational imagery of the products, in order to provide an adaptable system that would easily convey the company messaging.
The primary purpose of the website is to allow users to find a recycling location in their area, while discovering which products are accepted by the program. We simplified the navigation structure and prioritized the essential information, while incorporating the new illustrations and real product imagery into the design.
