The Indigenous Zero Waste Technical Advisory Group (IZWTAG) offers training and resources to First Nations to implement zero waste systems within their communities. We collaborated with their team to create a brand and website true to their identity.
The logo was created by IZWTAG Vice President Roger Vickers of the Gitxaala Nation and we worked closely together on the incorporation of the wordmark and colour palette.
As a relatively new program, the design system for IZWTAG had to be expandable to a wide range of physical and digital applications that we couldn’t necessarily anticipate.
One of the more complex features of the website is a locator which highlights communities partnered with the program.
