We’re a design studio based in Vancouver, BC specializing in brand, packaging and digital design. We partner with exciting brands driven by purpose to help shape and execute their vision and make a lasting impact. 

We’re seeking a highly talented, driven and enthusiastic Creative Director to join our team and help shape the future of our company.

Who you are

As Creative Director you will be responsible for everything that leaves the studio. You will lead creative vision and guide the design team through execution. You will have a diverse array of experiences to bring to the roll, from strategy and concept development, to design and execution of creative deliverables.

You are a great communicator and can explain concepts with ease. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams including a range of contractors, and build long-term client relationships. You will also work closely with founders to shape company culture and contribute to the growth of the company, advising on hiring, process, and strategy.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the design team and drive creative excellence
• Champion the overall creative direction of projects, inspiring the team through your design and leadership
• Build on our design processes and adapt to the needs of the project
• Contribute to creative solutions and designs
• Work with project managers to plan and scope projects, set expectations, and monitor quality standards
• Work closely with founders to build culture and processes 

Experience & skills

• You have a passion for creating and strive to build something great
• Strong portfolio of brand work (digital a bonus)
• 5+ years design experience
• 3+ years management/art/creative direction experience
• Strong leadership skills, organization and communication abilities
• Ability to balance strategic ideas and design craft
• You enjoy an ever-changing project environment
• You’re a great speaker and like a laugh
• You’re entrepreneurial and aren’t scared to pitch new ideas
